Abstract:
By modeling and simulation on welding manufacturing system,this paper explicate the concept of virtual welding manufacturing system(VWMS),and presented a realizable frame and an integrated simulation method(ISM) based on the virtual manufacturing technology.Combining computer-aided design,computer-aided engineering,virtual real and discrete event simulation techniques,the ISM provides the modeling methods for VWMS.The research was on the key links of whole life-cycle of VWMS,including options of welding technological parameters,design of welding machines,optinfizations the layout manufacturing work-shop,static and dynamic simulation of production system,and the analysis of entire manufacturing systems before the real manufacturing system(RMS) actualized.The details of structuring the VWMS through the ISM were shown by an example,and the crucial and points were explained.The ISM provided a powerful tool for the RMS in manufacturing practices.
