Abstract:
The solution and escape of hydrogen in annealing, normalizing and quenching steel were studied by means of elecrolysis-cathode-hydrogenating under the condition of plastic deformation. Some empirical formulas of diffusion were deduced by regressive method. Diftusivity, activation energy of diffusion, and relation between diffusivity, activation energy of diffusion, solubility were also calculated. The results indicate that solubility and diffusivity during the solution of hydrogen increase with the order of annealing, normalizing and quenching, and the activation energy of diffusion decreases with above mentioned order, but during the eseape of hydrogen. solubility, activation energy of diffusion increase with above mentioned order, and the diffusion redueees. Mathematical relation between solubility, diffusivity, activation energy of diffusion have been obtained, and their changes are dependent upon plastic deformation. Caloulated values agree with the tested results.
