Abstract: The influence of bismuth in silver filler metals on spreadability and joint strength are studied. It is shown:the influence of minute bismuth on the spreadability of sivler filler metals is marked and the influence on joint strength at room temperature is small and negligible. The existential states of bismuth in silver filler metals is also analyzed. And the continuous course of phase transition is studied. The mechanism of the influence is revealed.
