Abstract:
The effect of rare-earth oxide and laser remalting technique was investigated upon microstructure and wear resistance of flame spray NiCrBSi-WC composite alloy coatings.Determinations were carried out on microhardness, chemical element distribution and phase structure. Results showed a higher degree improvement of phase morphology and an increment of wear resistance of laser remelting coatings by adding rare-earth oxide, i. e. cerium oxide, and a certain effect of reducing friction of laser remelting coatings is also obtained by above mentioned method.
