双尖角磁场再压缩等离子弧的物理特征及焊接工艺性能

PHYSICAL FEATURES AND WELDING CHARACTERISTICS OF A PLASMA ARC RE-CONSTRICTED BY A DUAL-CUSP MAGNETIC FIELD

  • 摘要: 本文介绍了等离子弧经双尖角磁场再压缩以后电弧的状态和行为。通过电弧负载特性,电流密度和压力的分布以及稳定性指标的测定,对其物理特征进行了分析研究。在此基础上,进行了不锈钢板的熔入型及小孔型焊接试验。试验表明:等离子弧经外磁场再压缩后,能量密度明显提高且容易调整、有利于控制焊缝成型、抑制"双弧"产生、增加小孔型的焊接厚度,具有广泛的应用价值。

     

    Abstract: This paper describes the state and behaviours of a plasma arc re-constricted by a dual-cusp magnetic field.The load characteristics,the current density,the pressure distribution and the are stability indexes were measured.On the basis of investigating the physical features of the re-constricted plasma arc,the melt-in mode,and the key holemode plasma arc welding on stainless steel plate had been tested.It is shown that when re-constricted,the energy density of the plasma arc is greatly increased,the current distribution and pressure distribution,thus the weld configuration,can be easily adjusted,the "dual-arc" occurring current and the limited welding thickness for keyhole mode plasma arc welding increase.All these characteristics make a plasma arc more flexible and give many advantages to its application.
