钨极焊接电弧在窄间隙中的电场分布

ELECTRIC FIELD DISTRIBUTION OF TIG ARC IN NARROW GAP

  • 摘要: 本文对于窄间隙中钨极焊接电弧的行为进行了理论研究,建立了弧柱中电场分布的数学模型,并得到了实验证明。研究结果表明,焊接电弧由于受到间隙侧壁的限制,不再处于自由燃烧状态,它的电场分布发生改变,有一定量的焊接电流流向侧壁,但是在底板与侧壁的交角处电流密度甚小。当交角为尖角时,该处电流密度趋向于零。基于上述原因,在窄间隙中钨极氩弧焊时,如果不采取相应的工艺措施,将引起侧壁的熔合不良。

     

    Abstract: This paper makes a advanced theoretical investigation of the behaviour of TIG arc in narrow gap and puts forward a mathematical model of electric field distribution in arc column with experimental verification. Research results point out that the welding arc, being limited by the side walls of the gap, is not in a free burning condition. Hence the electric field distribution is modified and a certain amount of current flows into the side walls. However, the current density in the corners made by the bottom and the side walls is rather small, and it approaches zero when the corners are sharp-pointed. It follows that in narrow gap TIG welding the fusion of side walls could be out of order if no proper technological measures are taken.
