环境压力对GMAW电弧电离度的影响

Effect of environmental pressure on ionization fraction of GMAW arc

  • 摘要: 电离度是表征电弧特性的重要指标之一,借助电离度来分析高压GMAW焊接过程,为高压GMAW焊接过程稳定性问题研究提供了一个新的视角. 采用光谱仪测试高压GMAW电弧空间点的光谱数据,使用Boltzmann法和Saha热电离公式计算出测量点的电弧电离度,从而获得高压GMAW电弧电离度的分布特征及其随环境压力的变化特性. 结果表明,随着环境压力增大,高压GMAW电弧电离度呈明显下降趋势,高压GMAW电弧电离度的减小意味着电弧空间中起导电作用的带电粒子比例减小,维持电弧稳定燃烧的难度增大,电弧稳定性下降. 另外,焊接电流增大有助于提高高压GMAW焊接过程的稳定性.

     

    Abstract: The Ionization fraction is one of the important indexes of arc characteristics. The analysis of ionization fraction on arc of hyperbaric GMAW provides a new perspective for the research of welding process stability. The spectral of the points in hyperbaric GMAW arc were tested by a spectrometer with different environmental pressures. The arc ionization fraction of the tested point was calculated by Boltzmann method and Saha thermo ionization formula. According to the experimental data, the effect of environmental pressures on arc ionization fraction was analyzed. The results showed that with the increase of environmental pressure, the arc ionization fraction decreased remarkably, and the proportion of charged particles in hyperbaric GMAW arc space decreased. It is more difficult to maintain the stable arc, and the stability of hyperbaric GMAW process decreased. Additionally, it is helpful to increase welding current to improve the stability of hyperbaric GMAW process.
