Abstract:
As a light metal, aluminum-lithium alloy possesses excellent comprehensive properties. For this reason, its application prospect is very broad. Based on the weldability of aluminum-lithium alloys, research status of arc welding, high-energy beam welding, friction stir welding, diffusion welding and brazing of aluminum-lithium alloy were discussed. The results shown that aluminum-lithium alloys can be welded by various welding techniques. The advantages and disadvantages of various welding techniques for welding aluminum-lithium alloys were analyzed. The properties of joints obtained by them and process improvement measures were studied respectively. In view of the problems to be solved in welding techniques and the development direction of aluminum-lithium alloy welding, the key contents of future research on aluminum-lithium alloy welding are summarized, and the prospects were analyzed and forecasted.
