Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of insufficient strength of die-casting repaired by manual TIG filler wire, the method of manual TIG filler wire coupling laser melting was proposed. The intensifying effect of laser melting on manual TIG filler wire repair-layer was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), microhardness test, thermal fatigue crack blocking test and wear test in this paper. The experiment results indicated that the microstructure of the repair-layer processed with manual TIG filler wire coupling laser melting was refined significantly compared with that processed by manual TIG filler wire. The thermal fatigue property of the composite repair-layer was improved obviously. Moreover, the composite repair-layer had excellent wear resistance under high-temperature sliding wear test condition.
