用于航空发动机叶片焊接修复的改进Canny算法

An improved Canny operator used for aero-engine's blade welding and repairing

  • 摘要: 传统Canny算子因良好的边缘检测效果得到了广泛应用. 在钛合金叶片边缘检测过程中,由于复杂的周围环境,导致处理后的图像容易出现检测结果不连续的情况. 为此提出基于部分非极大值抑制的改进Canny算子. 在梯度非极大值抑制过程中,将极大值点作为候选边缘点;将非极大值二次筛选,保留8邻域内候选边缘点不相邻的非极大值点;采用最大类间方差法(Otsu)进行阈值选取,增加自适应性. 结果表明,处理时间保持不增加的情况下,连续性得到提高,连通点占边缘点总数量的比例由0.686提升到0.904,边缘检测效果良好.

     

    Abstract: The Canny operator has been widely applied on the edge detection due to the good effect. In the process of repairing the civil aviation engine titanium alloy blade, discontinuous edges will appear because of the influence of complex fixtures and high reflective characteristics of blade. Therefore, bases on the non-maximum part suppression, an improved Canny operator method is proposed. Firstly, this method makes the maximum gradient value points as candidate the edge. And then, for reducing the influence of environmental factors, the non-maximum points are screened with keeping non-adjacent the maximum points as the edge map in the 8 neighborhood. Finally, the Otsu algorithm is used for threshold selection to increased adaptability. Experimental results show that the connecting points are improved in proportion of the total number of edge points from 0.686 to 0.904. Without increase in time, the detected edge is enhanced in terms of continuity and edge detection effect is good.
