  • In this paper, the droplet transfer and spatter were observed and analyzed by high speed photography, the patterns and characteristics of droplet transfer and the spatter under the experimental parameters were summarized, which described the causes of the droplet transfer and spatter occurred.Under 100%CO2 shielded gas, the arc voltage shows obvious fluctuation, droplet transfer.Dominated by repelled transfer is not unstable, and small amount of fine transfer and explosive transfer and big large spatter as well.Under 5%CO2+95%Ar shielded and.The welding process is characterized by single projected transfer, stable droplet transfer and arc, little spatter; The main patterns of spatter of metal powder flux-cored wire include bubble release spatter, shrinking spatter, spatter created by droplet burst, spatter created by arc force.
