Microstructure and properties of middle thickness sheet welded joint for high strength alloy steel with Tandem GMAW system

  • Austenitic stainless steel wire was adopted to make welding process experiment for high strength alloy steel with Tandem GMAW system,then the performance and metallographic structure of welded joint were researched,and the mechanics performance of the joint was analyzed.The experiment results prove the good joint of high strength alloy steel is attained with Tandem GMAW process.The welding efficiency of middle thickness sheet is higher than that of shielded metal arc welding and single wire GMAW welding.
