Expert system for predicting mechanical properties of welded joint-PPES
An expert system which can not only lay out the welding procedures but also predict the mechanical properties of welding joints is implemented with Turbo-prolog language. As the reliability of calculated results has been verified by testing, the welding procedure qualification tests can be partly replaced by the system.
