Friction welding of thin walled tubes of stainless steel and aluminium alloy
The friction welding of thin walled tubes of stainless steel and aluminium alloy was accomplished with a specially designed fixture on a selfbuilt friction welding machine. The influence of welding pressure and time as well as the post-weld heating temperature and time on the mechanical properties of the joints was investigated.
